For the post of District Judge, candidate should have completed Degree in Law from a recognized Institute.
For the post of District Judge, maximum age limit for the SC/ ST category belonging to Tamil Nadu is 48 years and minimum age limit is 35 years as on 01 July 2019.
For candidates from other States / Union Territories, maximum age limit is 45 years and minimum age limit is 35 years as on 01 July 2019.
Candidates should have passed the All India Bar Examination, conducted by the Bar Council of India within the period prescribed.

SC/ ST, PWD candidates need not to pay the fee.

Candidates should produce all their original documents at the time of Interview.
Candidates will be selected based on Written Exam, Viva.
Written Exam contains questions on Law Papers, Judgement Writing and various other topics.
For every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be reduced.
