Educational Qualification

Professor: Candidates should have completed Master Degree in Physics/ Doctorate Degree from a recognized University.

Fellow: Candidates should have completed Master Degree in Physics/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/ Computer Science from a recognized University.

STA: Candidates should have completed M.Sc in Physics/ Pure Maths/ Applied Maths/ Electronics/ Geophysics from a recognized University.

Age Limit

Professor: Candidate's age should not be more than 45 years.

Fellow: Candidate's age should not be more than 40 years.

STA: Candidate's age should not be more than 30 years.

Eligibility

Professor: Candidates must have 15 years experience in geomagnetism and allied fields.

Fellow: Candidates must have 02 to 03 years research experience in modeling and interpretation of GPS/ Geopotential filed data from reputed laboratory/ research institution/ University.

Driver: Candidates must have driving experience and knowledge of motor vehicle mechanism is desirable.

For SC/ ST/ PWD and Women category candidates, the application fee is exempted.
